Counts and knights could only celebrate their achievements if they were not on the battlefield. On these occasions, delicious food was served and enjoyed, while the castle was visited by troubadours and entertainers helping to warm up the invitees. Come and be the counts. Be dubbed a knight of Celje and experience the exciting medieval past. You are kindly invited to enjoy a rich dinner prepared according to ancient recipes. It is accompanied by a drop of noble wine or sweet juniper juice. Evening entertainment is provided by demonstrations of martial arts by experienced knights waiting for you to join their ranks. - Start of the event marked by the sound of fanfare
- Arrival of Count Herman II and Empress Barbara of Celje with their entourage
- Dance performance
- Speech given by the castle notary
- Candidate dexterity test (fencing, archery, knight equipment try-on)
- Awarding of knighthood (Herman II or Barbara of Celje)
- Granting the certificate
- Ending the celebration with a dance performance or a game of skills by appointment

- Swimming in a bucket before awarding knighthood – not mandatory

- The candidate is handed a certificate
- The candidate is handed a ribbon (around his neck by Herman II – surcharge)
- Lively dancing or singing accompanied by a lute or recorded music (by appointment)
- Fanfare marking the end of programme
