The cycle route from Celje to Laško starts point at the Park & Ride car park. Most of the route takes you along the left bank of the Savinja River. Should you need a bit of a rest, a great suggestion is taking a break at Gostilna Francl, one of the oldest taverns in Slovenia (1895), which also boasts a Michelin Plate award. At the intersection leading to Celjska koča, continue straight along the Celje-Laško cycle, enjoying the view of the surrounding hills of Celje and Laško. Rest areas are set up along the path, with the path ending at the footbridge over the Savinja River. From here, you can continue cycling towards the municipality of Laško. The entire route is flat and suitable for all family members, even children.
