In an era when swords shaped destinies, life awakens at Celje Castle — pulsing in every step, every glance, every clash of steel. On this day, courage and skill meet in a whirlwind of thundering hooves and breathtaking acrobatics that shake the very boundaries of time.
Don’t just be a spectator — step into the story, where every movement speaks and every moment breathes the life of the Middle Ages. Experience the heartbeat of medieval daily life through games, crafts, dance, and sword fights, revealing the true strength and beauty of the past.
The Medieval Festival will take place on Saturday, 29 August 2026, from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM, and on Sunday, 30 August 2026, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

In case of rain, the event will be postponed.
The event is organised as part of the Living Castles 2.0 project, which is co-financed by the European Union and the European Regional Development Fund under the Interreg Programme Slovenia-Croatia 2021-2027.
