City Hall

Scroll

The City Hall building dating from the 17th century is among the most prominent buildings in the old city centre.

Its distinguishing features are the renaissance core and the classicist façade with a balcony supported by eight columns. In the first half of the 19th century, the building was acquired by the municipal authorities and adapted into a city hall, or town hall. Today, it hosts the Celje Museum of Recent History.
