A venue for all generations and all seasons. The oldest venue in Celje and beyond, located in the same place since 1721, with its first operating license granted in 1851. Over time, the venue has changed several names and owners. It was named Branibor during the battles for the northern border and Maribor. A group of Celje residents who fought in General Rudolf Maister’s army gathered at the venue, and the name is an abbreviation for “defend Maribor” (brani Maribor).
Since 2003, it has been managed by the company Branibor d.o.o., and during this time, the venue has come to life again. The venue has two summer terraces: one on the sidewalk in front of the venue, and the other, more enclosed, in the “courtyard,” as well as a basement, which, since its renovation in June 2015, has been available for private parties of up to 70 people.
