Arrival in Celje and hotel check-in in the afternoon. Guided tour of Celje’s old town with a local guide, revealing the many fascinating stories of the city. Visit to the Archaeological Exhibition Pavilion at the Main Square, offering a time-traveling glimpse into Celje’s past. Dinner at the Restaurant of Hotel Evropa****. The evening concludes with a highlight concert at the Prince’s Palace: Capella Helvetica, Panta Rhei. One hour before the concert, enjoy an opportunity to chat informally with the artists.
After the musical evening, we recommend a visit to one of the popular pubs in the old town or a relaxing stroll along the Savinja River, where you can enjoy the magical summer night.

Start your day with an excellent breakfast at Hotel Evropa. The journey continues to Šmartno pri Litiji, where you’ll enjoy a guided tour of the magnificent Church of St. Martin and a walk through the town center. The exploration proceeds to Bogenšperk Castle, where the castle wine cellar, built into solid rock and featuring a famous passage to the well, is sure to impress. Sample top-quality local meats and cheeses alongside the best Slovenian wines, including select sparkling wines from the castle’s Wagensperg brand.
After this gourmet indulgence, visit the castle’s museum collections, which illustrate life at the castle, with a focus on the legacy of the Carniolan polymath Johann Weikhard von Valvasor (1641–1693), who lived and worked at the castle for over 20 years. A graphic arts workshop follows.
Lunch is served at the castle’s tavern (4-course menu), a top-notch culinary experience in an authentic setting, featuring dishes prepared from local ingredients.
After lunch, enjoy some free time to relax in the castle’s enchanting surroundings and prepare for the evening’s highlight: the concert Tacet Ensemble – Parisian Elegance and Brilliance. One hour before the performance, take another opportunity to chat with the artists.
