The musical Veronika Deseniška officially kicks off Summer in Celje 2025 on June 27. To ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience, please follow the guidelines below.
📅 Performances: June 27 & 28 and July 3 & 4, 2025
🚧 Access to Celje Castle:
The road to the castle will be closed from 6:00 PM onwards.
Transport will be available only by designated buses (Veronika Deseniška) and taxis.
We recommend using the designated walking paths and parking areas at:
Celje Railway Station
Historical Archives
Vrunčeva Street
Celeia Parking Garage
🚐 Free Bus Transport:
Departures start at 6:30 PM from the bus stop near Celje Railway Station.
Return buses will depart 10 minutes after the performance ends.
⚠️ Due to roadworks, travel times may be slightly longer, so please arrive at the bus stop early.
💵 At the Event:
Cash payment only is accepted.
Reusable packaging with a 5 EUR deposit will be used, supporting sustainability efforts.
♻️ The event follows the Slovenia Green Destination Gold guidelines. We encourage supporting the “zero waste” concept.
🏰 Castle Visit:
Celje Castle will be open until 5:00 PM.
We expect a large number of visitors and kindly ask for your patience and understanding.
