At the Centre for Contemporary Arts you will hear, see, feel art, with a capital A. It is a place of diversity and integration. Some exhibitions feature artists whose work is a major part of Slovenian contemporary art, while others bring together local and international creativity; yet all will create an impression of the artist as a bridge. Statues celebrating remarkable creative people are the reminders of their achievements that you will find at every step of the way. Anton Aškerc, the fearless globetrotter and writer Alma Karlin, Anton Martin Slomšek, Alfred Nobel, the photographer Josip Pelikan. These are only some of the many that have left an indelible mark on the city.
