St. Cecilia Church

Scroll

The Capuchin church of St. Cecilia sits atop a small hill on the right bank of the Savinja River.

It was built along with the convent in 1615 when it was consecrated by the bishop Tomaž Hren. Due to subsequent adjustments, its original architecture has not been entirely preserved. Approximately 100 wooden stairs lead up to the church.
